About Outside Lube

Outside Lube is a lubricant used in tire industry to treat the surface of the green tire with a high quality lubricant. Even though Outside Lube is water-based and free of solvents, relatively short drying times are achieved. The product shows good effect especially with regard to venting, release and flow properties during the vulcanisation of the tires. Moreover, a significant reduction of the build-up on the moulds can be observed. The special properties of Outside Lube during the vulcanisation process prevent knit-lines and other visual defects from appearing.
